JD: Senior SAP Basis Consultant

Location: Andheri,Mumbai(WFO)

OVERVIEW OF FUNCTION/BUSINESS The SAP Practice supports implementation, support, migration, and optimization of SAP landscapes including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, and cloud-based SAP environments.

- Installation, configuration, and administration of SAP systems (ECC / S/4HANA / BW / PI-PO / Solution Manager).
- SAP system upgrades, enhancement packs, support packs, and kernel upgrades.
- Manage SAP Transport Management System (TMS).
- Perform system refresh, client copy, and system build activities.
- Monitor and administer SAP HANA / Oracle / SQL Server databases.
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting of SAP applications and databases.
- Manage SAP user administration and authorizations.
- Monitor background jobs and resolve system errors.
- Apply SAP Notes and handle OSS tickets.
- Manage SAP backup, disaster recovery, and high availability setup.
- Support SAP Fiori and Gateway configuration.
- Coordinate with Functional, ABAP, and Infrastructure teams.
- Participate in SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
- Ensure compliance with SAP security patches and audits.





DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering (SAP Basis Certification preferred)

MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 7 – 9 Years in SAP Basis Administration

NATURE OF EXPERIENCE: SAP ECC / S/4HANA landscape management, upgrades, migrations, and production support.

Specific Skills/Personal Attributes:

- Strong SAP Basis administration knowledge
- Experience in SAP installation and upgrades
- SAP HANA administration
- System refresh and client copy experience
- SAP security and authorization knowledge
- Linux / Windows OS familiarity
- Basic scripting (Shell / PowerShell preferred)
- Cloud exposure (Azure / AWS / GCP preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Positive communication and stakeholder management

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
