About the Role

- We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with hands-on experience in S/4HANA to support the integration of our Plant Logistics Management System (PLMS) and other automation products with client SAP landscapes.
- The role involves developing and maintaining custom SAP solutions, building interfaces with third-party automation systems, and supporting SAP integration projects across India and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, function modules, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, and enhancements in S/4HANA.
- Develop and support interfaces between SAP and third-party systems such as RFID, ANPR, weighbridge, and dispatch automation platforms.
- Work with IDocs, RFCs, OData services, REST/SOAP APIs, and other integration technologies.
- Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA-optimized ABAP programs.
- Handle data migration activities, including LSMW and BDC developments.
- Create and maintain SAP Data Dictionary objects.
- Debug, analyze, and resolve issues in existing custom developments.
- Prepare technical specifications based on functional requirements.
- Coordinate with functional consultants, particularly across SD, MM, and LE modules.
- Support integration testing, UAT, deployment, and go-live activities.
- Participate in client-site support when required.
- Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and compliance with SAP development standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.




- At least 1 year of experience working on SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP and ABAP OO.
- Experience with ALV Reports, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
- Valuable understanding of SAP enhancement frameworks, BADIs, user exits, and enhancement spots.
- Experience with OData/RESTful services and SAP Gateway.
- Hands-on experience with IDocs, RFCs, and Proxy interfaces.
- Working knowledge of CDS Views and HANA-optimized ABAP.
- Understanding of SD/MM/LE business processes.
- Knowledge of dispatch, weighment, logistics, and invoicing processes will be an advantage.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with client SAP teams.

Good to Have

- Exposure to SAP BTP, Fiori/UI5, or ABAP RAP.
- Experience integrating SAP with plant automation, logistics, IoT, or industrial systems.
- Experience with RFID, ANPR, weighbridge, or dispatch automation systems.
- SAP certification in ABAP or S/4HANA.
