Role Description The Safety Senior Team Leader (Construction Industry) is a full-time, in office role based in Thane. The role involves leading safety supervision activities across construction sites, including monitoring daily operations, ensuring adherence to safety procedures, and coordinating with site management.

The Safety Senior Team

Leader will plan and conduct site safety inspections, identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and help implement safety improvement measures. This position also requires guiding and mentoring safety team members, conducting toolbox talks and safety trainings,



maintaining compliance documentation, and liaising with internal stakeholders and external agencies as needed. The role is accountable for promoting a strong safety culture and supporting continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance at project locations.

Qualifications

- Strong Supervisory Skills and experience in leading safety teams or site personnel.
- Hands-on Site Supervision and Construction Safety experience on active construction projects.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with workers, site management, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Inspection activities, hazard identification, and safety audits.
- Good knowledge of relevant safety standards, codes, and local regulatory requirements.
- Experience in developing and delivering safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
- Ability to maintain accurate safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field; recognized safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced construction workplace and make sound, timely decisions in the field.
