Job Title: Safety Officer – Electrical & Fire Safety

Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and technically competent Safety Officer to oversee electrical and fire safety measures within the organization. The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential hazards, conducting safety inspections, maintaining safety systems, and ensuring compliance with applicable safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor electrical and fire safety across the premises.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify electrical, fire, and workplace safety hazards.
- Ensure fire extinguishers, alarms, emergency exits, electrical panels, and other safety equipment are properly maintained.
- Coordinate periodic testing and preventive maintenance of safety equipment.
- Maintain safety inspection records, checklists, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure electrical installations and equipment are operated safely.
- Conduct fire drills and emergency preparedness activities.
- Train and guide employees on fire safety, electrical safety, evacuation procedures, and emergency response.




- Investigate safety incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, administration, and other departments regarding safety requirements.
- Ensure emergency exits and evacuation routes remain accessible and properly marked.
- Support management in maintaining a protected working environment.

Qualification: ITI / Polytechnic Diploma with specialization or relevant training in Electrical and Fire Safety.

Experience:

2–3 years of relevant experience in Electrical Safety, Fire Safety, Facility Safety, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of fire prevention and emergency response procedures.
- Understanding of electrical safety practices.
- Ability to conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare facility will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
