Role Description The Robotics and AI Engineer will work full time on-site at Voyage Robotics in Nagpur. This role involves designing, developing, and testing robotics and AI solutions that support the company’s educational curriculum and products.

Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing software modules for robot and drone control, implementing AI models for pattern recognition and natural language processing, and integrating these systems with interactive learning platforms. The engineer will collaborate with curriculum designers and educators to translate complex technical concepts into practical, engaging learning experiences for children.



The role also includes maintaining existing systems, documenting solutions, providing technical support during workshops and classes, and contributing to continuous improvement of the technology stack.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development , including algorithms, data structures, and coding best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition , preferably applied to robotics, computer vision, or sensor data.
- Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and its integration into interactive or educational systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI and robotics (such as Python, C++ or Java) and familiarity with relevant frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, ROS).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with robots, drones, sensors, or embedded systems, and an interest in educational technology.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences, including children and educators, and to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
- Robust problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for inspiring the next generation through robotics and AI.
