Job Title: Robotics Simulation Engineer DELMIA / OLP
We are looking for a Robotics Simulation Engineer with hands-on experience in DELMIA V5, Robotics Simulation and Offline Programming (OLP) for automotive welding applications.
The role involves robotic cell simulation, weld accessibility analysis, robot path optimization and OLP for MIG/MAG welding processes. The candidate will work closely with Tool Design, PML, Manufacturing Engineering and Program teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform robotics simulation studies using DELMIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE.
- Create robotic cells and validate welding jigs as per global standards.
- Perform weld accessibility and robot/torch interference checks.
- Develop and optimize robotic paths for MIG & MAG welding.
- Generate OLP and support robot program integration with plant facilities.
- Work with Fanuc robots and material handling equipment.
- Develop robot kinematics and working devices.
- Understand welding jig functionality and tooling constraints.
- Coordinate with Tool Design, PML, Program and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
- Support process optimization to reduce design/tool integration lead time and scrap.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing, equipment, HSE and tooling standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of robotics simulation activities.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 3-7 years of experience in Robotics Simulation and OLP using DELMIA V5.
- Experience in automatic/robotic welding, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Valuable knowledge of MIG and MAG welding processes.
- Hands-on experience with Fanuc robots.
- Good understanding of 3D CAD and robotic simulation environments.
- Manufacturing Engineering background.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have:
- DELMIA 3DEXPERIENCE experience.
- Online Robot Teaching and Calibration.
- ENOVIA / PLM experience.
- Robot integration and commissioning experience.
- Knowledge of kinematics and material handling systems.
