About Aivida

Aivida is building a patient-centric healthcare service model focused on providing convenient, accessible and quality healthcare services at the patient's doorstep.

We are looking for a responsible and patient-focused Home Visit Doctor / General Physician to provide medical consultations and appropriate treatment to patients at their homes.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct home-based medical consultations for patients across Chennai.
- Assess patient history, symptoms, vital signs and overall medical condition.
- Diagnose and provide appropriate treatment within the scope of medical practice.
- Prescribe medicines, investigations and follow-up care as clinically appropriate.
- Handle common acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Monitor patients requiring continued medical supervision.
- Identify emergency or high-risk cases and arrange timely referral to hospitals or specialists.
- Maintain accurate patient consultation records and medical documentation.
- Explain diagnosis, treatment plans, medication usage and precautions clearly to patients and family members.
- Coordinate with Aivida's healthcare and operations teams for patient follow-ups.
- Provide post-consultation guidance and follow-up wherever required.
- Maintain professional medical ethics, patient confidentiality and clinical standards.
- Ensure a compassionate and patient-friendly experience during every home visit.

Eligibility

Mandatory:

- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.




- Valid registration with the appropriate State Medical Council / National Medical Commission as applicable.
- Relevant experience in general medical practice is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for patient home visits.

Preferred:

- MD – General Medicine / General Physician
- Experience in home healthcare, outpatient practice, emergency care or hospital-based general medicine.
- Experience handling elderly patients and patients with chronic medical conditions.

Working Schedule
- 12-hour duty
- Home visits as per patient appointments and operational requirements.
- Flexibility to travel within assigned service areas.
- Availability for urgent patient consultations when required.
