Job Summary The Rehabilitation Psychologist will be responsible for providing psychological assessment, counselling, behavioural interventions, motivation enhancement and rehabilitation support to clients recovering from alcohol and drug addiction, psychiatric and behavioural concerns. The psychologist will work closely with the clinical team, counsellors, nursing staff and family members to support the client's overall recovery and reintegration into family and society. ---

Key Responsibilities 1.

Psychological

Assessment - Conduct psychological and behavioural assessments of clients.

- Identify emotional, behavioural and psychological concerns.
- Maintain proper psychological assessment records and documentation.
- Monitor changes in the client's psychological and behavioural status. 2.

Individual

Counselling - Conduct regular one-to-one counselling sessions.
- Develop rapport and maintain a non-judgmental therapeutic environment.
- Provide motivation enhancement and relapse-prevention counselling.
- Help clients develop healthy coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills. 3.

Group

Therapy &

• Activities - Conduct structured group counselling and therapeutic sessions.
- Facilitate psychoeducation, motivation and recovery-oriented activities.
- Conduct sessions on stress management, anger management, communication skills and relapse prevention. 4.

Addiction

Rehabilitation - Support clients in understanding addiction and the recovery process.
- Identify psychological triggers and high-risk situations.
- Assist clients in developing relapse-prevention strategies.
- Encourage participation in healthy routines, therapeutic activities and rehabilitation programs. 5.





Family

Counselling - Conduct family counselling and psychoeducation sessions.
- Educate families about addiction, psychological concerns, recovery and relapse prevention.
- Support healthy communication between clients and family members.
- Provide appropriate progress updates in coordination with centre policies. 6.

Treatment

Planning &

• Team Coordination - Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
- Coordinate with doctors, psychiatrists, nurses, counsellors and other rehabilitation staff.
- Contribute to individualized rehabilitation and recovery plans.
- Report significant psychological or behavioural changes to the appropriate clinical authority. 7.

Documentation

Maintain accurate and confidential records, including:
- Initial psychological assessment - Individual counselling notes - Group session records - Behavioural observations - Progress notes - Family counselling records - Relapse-prevention plans - Discharge and rehabilitation recommendations 8. Crisis &
- Risk Management - Identify signs of emotional distress, behavioural deterioration or psychological crisis.
- Follow the centre's established crisis-management and escalation protocols.
- Immediately communicate significant risk concerns to the appropriate clinical team.
- Rehabilitation &
- Reintegration - Help clients develop social, emotional and interpersonal skills.
- Support development of healthy daily routines and responsible behaviour.
- Assist with aftercare and relapse-prevention planning.
- Encourage appropriate family and social reintegration. ---





Required Qualifications - Master's Degree in Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Rehabilitation Psychology or relevant field.

- Relevant professional registration/licensing wherever applicable.
- Experience in de-addiction, rehabilitation, mental-health or counselling settings will be preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and strong counselling skills may also be considered.

Performance Indicators

Performance may be evaluated on:
- Quality and consistency of counselling sessions - Psychological assessment and documentation - Client engagement and therapeutic participation - Family counselling and communication - Contribution to rehabilitation plans - Timely reporting of risk concerns - Team coordination - Professional conduct and confidentiality Key Objecti3ve To provide structured psychological support that helps clients achieve emotional stability, behavioural improvement, addiction recovery, relapse prevention and successful rehabilitation.

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
