We’re Looking For: Technical R&D; – Biotechnology & Bioconversion

We’re looking for someone who’s genuinely curious about biotechnology, biological waste conversion, entomology, microbiology, formulation, nutraceuticals, and applied research — and wants to work on real experiments, not just observe from the sidelines.

This is an prospect to be part of an early-stage R&D; journey where you’ll experiment, question assumptions, explore scientific possibilities, and help turn research-driven ideas into practical solutions.

What will you work on?

You’ll actively contribute to laboratory experiments and research activities, including sample preparation, testing, measurements, and data collection. The role will also involve reviewing scientific literature and translating relevant findings into useful insights for ongoing R&D.;

You’ll document experimental procedures and results, analyze observations and data, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to refining experimental protocols. You’ll work closely with the founder, researchers, and scientific mentors while contributing to early-stage product development and applied scientific research.

Who are we looking for?

We welcome candidates from Biotechnology, Entomology, Microbiology, Food Science and Food Technology, Biochemistry, Zoology, Biotechnology Engineering, and other relevant Life Science disciplines.

Applications are encouraged from individuals at different stages of their academic and professional journey, including those with industry, laboratory, research, or product-development experience. We particularly value people with a strong interest in applied research, experimentation,



biological systems, and translating scientific knowledge into practical solutions.

What would make you a good fit?

You don’t need to know everything already. We’re looking for someone with strong fundamentals, scientific curiosity, and the willingness to learn, experiment, and solve problems.

You should have laboratory and aseptic handling skills, along with an understanding of microbiology, biotechnology, or related biological processes. You should be comfortable reading and interpreting scientific research papers, maintaining accurate experimental documentation, and systematically recording and analyzing data. Familiarity with Excel or basic data-analysis tools would be valuable.

Most importantly, we value curiosity, problem-solving ability, an experimental mindset, and the willingness to continuously learn, test ideas, and contribute to research-driven innovation.
