Job Summary :

Responsible for monitoring and controlling in-process quality of components manufactured on CNC, VMC, and HMC machines. Ensure products meet drawing, dimensional, GD&T;, process, and customer requirements through effective inspection, process control, and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform in-process inspection of components manufactured on CNC, VMC, and HMC machines.

- Inspect critical dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Gauges, and other measuring instruments.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, specifications, and control plans.

- Verify first-off, patrol, and final dimensions as per inspection standards.

- Monitor process parameters and identify dimensional/process variations.

- Ensure proper use and calibration status of measuring instruments.

- Prepare and maintain Inspection Reports, In-Process Inspection Records, and Quality Documents.

- Identify non-conforming components and ensure proper segregation and traceability.

- Coordinate with Production, CNC/VMC/HMC Setters, Tool Room, and Manufacturing Engineering for quality issues.

- Analyze rejection, rework, and process defects and support Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions.

- Support CAPA, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, and Continuous Improvement activities.





- Conduct process audits and ensure compliance with SOP, Control Plan, and Work Instructions.

- Monitor process capability and support SPC, Cp/Cpk, and MSA activities.

- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer-specific requirements.

- Support new product development, process trials, and validation activities.

Required Skills :

- Good knowledge of CNC, VMC, and HMC machining processes.

- Strong knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawings.

- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.

- Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, SPC, MSA, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis.

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949 will be an advantage.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification :

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering.

- Relevant experience in automotive or precision machining industries preferred.

Experience :

- 2–5 years of experience in in-process quality inspection in CNC/VMC/HMC machining.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
