Key Responsibilities

1. Raw Material & Feedstock Testing

- Fiber Testing: Test incoming raw cotton, waste cotton, or synthetic blends using High Volume Instruments (HVI) or other lab equipment for trash content, micronaire, moisture, and staple length.
- Bale Management: Oversee bale mixing and blending ratios to maintain uniform feedstock properties for the rotor spinning lines.

2. In-Process Quality Monitoring

- Blow Room & Carding: Monitor trash percentage, neps level, and lap/sliver regularity.
- Sliver & Roving Checks: Check hank variation, uniformity index (U% ), and imperfections at the draw frame and roving stages.
- Rotor Parameters: Regularly check and audit machine operating parameters on Open-End spinning frames (rotor speed, opening roller speed, twist levels, and piecing quality).

3. Finished Yarn Testing & Inspection

- Yarn Properties: Test final OE yarn cones for count, count variation, Lea Strength,



Single Thread Strength, elongation, and hairiness.
- Fault Detection: Analyze yarn faults using electronic yarn clearters or classimat data (thin/thick places, long faults).
- Package Appearance: Inspect yarn package density, cone shape, winding faults, and snarls.

4. Documentation & Reporting

- Data Logging: Maintain daily registers and computer logs of lab test results and shift-wise quality metrics.
- Defect Escalation: Report off-standard yarn parameters or high breakage rates immediately to production supervisors for corrective action.
- Waste Tracking: Monitor process waste and help implement measures to reduce material loss and improve CSP (Count Strength Product).

Requirements & Skills

- Education: Diploma in Textile Technology / Textile Manufacturing or a Science Degree with relevant spinning mill experience.
- Experience: Fresher or 4 years of experience working in a spinning mill, specifically with Open-End (Rotor) spinning systems.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on knowledge of laboratory testing equipment (wrap reel, lea tester, twist tester, Uster tester/equalizer) and understanding of OE machine mechanics.
- Soft Skills: Valuable observation, basic computer literacy (MS Excel for reporting), and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
