Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Civil Engineer to oversee quality control and quality assurance activities for civil construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction work, materials, and processes comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and ensure the quality of civil construction work at project sites.

- Inspect construction activities, materials, workmanship, and completed work.

- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.

- Conduct inspections and maintain proper quality documentation and records.

- Review material test certificates and ensure materials meet project specifications.

- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and project teams regarding quality-related matters.

- Conduct and monitor testing of concrete, soil, aggregates, steel, and other construction materials.

- Ensure proper sampling and testing procedures are followed.

- Prepare and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, inspection reports, and quality records.

- Identify quality issues, non-conformities, and deviations and recommend corrective actions.

- Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.

- Ensure proper documentation of testing, inspections, and approvals.

- Assist in preparing method statements and quality control procedures.

- Coordinate with laboratories and third-party agencies for required testing.

- Ensure compliance with applicable IS codes, project specifications, and safety requirements.

- Prepare daily,



weekly, and monthly quality reports for management.

- Support project teams in maintaining required quality standards and completing projects within timelines.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized institution.

- 4–8 years of relevant experience in civil construction quality control/quality assurance.

- Strong knowledge of civil construction processes and quality standards.

- Valuable knowledge of IS Codes, material testing, concrete technology, and construction practices.

- Experience in handling quality documentation and site inspections.

- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, method statements, and inspection checklists.

- Good knowledge of MS Office and documentation.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and coordination abilities.

- Ability to work at construction/project sites and manage quality requirements effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.

- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems will be an advantage.

- Experience working with consultants, contractors, and third-party testing agencies.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
