We are looking for a Vendor Quality Assurance professional who can ensure that materials and products sourced from external vendors consistently meet defined quality, safety and regulatory requirements.

Job Summary The Vendor Quality Assurance professional will be responsible for evaluating, qualifying, auditing and monitoring vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and organizational requirements. The role will work closely with Procurement, R&D;, Production, Stores and Quality teams to maintain consistent quality of incoming materials and vendor-supplied products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Qualification & Evaluation

- Identify and evaluate potential vendors based on quality, technical capabilities, certifications and compliance requirements.
- Conduct vendor qualification and onboarding activities in coordination with Procurement and other stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain vendor quality evaluation criteria and performance records.
- Periodically review vendor performance based on quality, delivery, compliance and responsiveness.

1. Vendor Audits





- Plan and conduct supplier/vendor quality audits at manufacturing and supplier locations.
- Evaluate vendors for compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, ISO and other applicable quality standards, as relevant to the product category.
- Prepare audit reports and communicate observations to vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) arising from vendor audits and ensure timely closure.

1. Incoming Material Quality

- Establish and monitor quality specifications for raw materials, packaging materials and other vendor-supplied products.
- Coordinate with internal Quality and Stores teams for inspection and approval of incoming materials.
- Investigate quality deviations, rejections and non-conformities related to vendor-supplied materials.
- Work with vendors to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
