The company owns and operates large herbal extraction facilities in Ankola and Tumkur, supporting high-volume, quality-focused production. The organization is building a global B2B platform to serve pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmeceutical industries with its herbal and organic extracts. Prakruti has received several national and state-level awards, including a best product innovation award from the Government of India.

Role Description The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing all quality systems and processes to ensure that herbal extracts and nutraceutical formulations meet regulatory, certification, and internal standards. This full-time, on-site role in Karwar includes establishing and maintaining QA policies, supervising quality control activities, and ensuring compliance with WHO-GMP and other relevant certifications. The role involves coordinating audits and inspections, reviewing and approving SOPs, batch records, and validation documents, and managing deviation, CAPA, and change control systems.

The Quality Assurance

Manager will collaborate with production, R&D;, and regulatory teams to resolve quality issues,



drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support training on quality and compliance requirements. The position also includes preparing quality reports, monitoring KPIs, and contributing to product and process optimization.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in quality assurance and quality control in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, herbal, or related manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of WHO-GMP, ISO, and other applicable regulatory and certification frameworks (EU Organic, USDA Organic, Halal, Kosher preferred).
- Experience with SOP development, documentation control, validation, and audit readiness.
- Ability to manage investigations, deviations, CAPA, risk assessments, and change control processes.
- Proficiency in data analysis, quality metrics, and reporting to monitor and improve product and process performance.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Prior experience in herbal extraction, nutraceuticals, or similar product categories is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work in office in Karwar and adapt to a fast-paced, quality-driven manufacturing environment.
