About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester (Quality Assurance Engineer) Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and documentation, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify bugs and improve the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities

You will review and analyze system specifications and requirements while developing, executing, and maintaining detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Your duties will include performing manual and automated testing of web, mobile, or desktop applications, and identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla. You will also conduct regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and performance testing, participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning,



and retrospectives, and assist in test automation development and continuous integration efforts.

Furthermore, you will provide feedback on usability, functionality, and performance issues, and generate and present test reports and quality metrics.

Preferred Skills & Technologies:

Ideal candidates will have familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, and Zephyr, experience with mobile app testing, and proficiency in API testing using Postman and REST Assured across Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
