Role Description

- Conduct inspection of plastic moulds, tools, dies, and tool-room parts.
- Prepare and maintain Tool & Parts Inspection Reports.
- Handle SIR (Sample Inspection Report) and Trial Reports.




- Perform dimensional inspection using appropriate measuring instruments and gauges.
- Coordinate with Tool Room, Production, Design, and Development teams to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor trial results and ensure tools/components meet specified quality and dimensional requirements.
- Identify defects, deviations, and root causes, and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain inspection records and quality documentation as per company standards.
- Support continuous improvement in tool quality, dimensional accuracy, and mould trial performance.

Qualifications

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Tool & Die,IGTR, CIPET or related engineering field.
- Experience in Plastic Injection Mould / Tool Room Quality will be preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of GD&T;, dimensional inspection, measuring instruments, and engineering drawings.
- Ability to prepare quality reports and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
