● Carry out raw-material QC on incoming base oils, thickeners (lithium/lithium-complex, calcium-sulfonate, barium-complex, polyurea as applicable) and performance additives — including the bought-in EP/AW and friction-modifier packages used across the NEX, Fortis, Endura and Bastion ranges — against approved specifications before GRN/batch release.

● Run in-process checks during grease cooking (saponification, additive-dosing, homogenising, milling stages) and oil blending, and sign off on the SOP hold points before the batch is allowed to proceed to the next stage.

● Carry out finished-goods testing and release across the approx. 25-SKU oil and grease range using standard lubricant test methods, principally: kinematic viscosity & viscosity index (ASTM D445 / D2270), cone penetration & consistency (ASTM D217 / D1403), dropping point (ASTM D566 / D2265), four-ball weld load / EP performance (ASTM D2596 / D2783), copper-strip corrosion (ASTM D4048 / D130), rust-prevention (ASTM D665), pour point (ASTM D97), flash point (ASTM D92),



and water-spray-off / oil-separation checks (ASTM D4049 / D6184) as applicable to each product.

● Prepare and issue Certificates of Analysis (COA) and Technical Data Sheets (TDS) for despatch, and maintain retained/control samples per SOP.

● Maintain batch QC records, deviation and non-conformance reports, and support root-cause and CAPA closure on any out-of-specification result, per the manufacturing SOPs (equipment checks, batch records, hold points, deviation handling).

● Own calibration and upkeep of lab instruments (viscometer, penetrometer, dropping-point apparatus, flash-point tester, four-ball tester or equivalent outsourced testing arrangement) and lab 5S/safety.

Coordinate daily with Production and Stores on batch hold/release decisions and with Dispatch on COA turnaround, and support internal audits / ISO 9001 documentation.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
