- Proven experience in Data Center, Industrial, Warehouse, Commercial Building, or Large Infrastructure Projects.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Candidates from Tamil Nadu will be preferred.
- Must have relevant Data Center project experience.
- Should be currently working in or around Noida/NCR and available for site-based project execution.
- Strong experience in both Structural Steel/PEB and RCC/Concrete quality control is mandatory.
- Robust experience in both Structural Steel/PEB and RCC/Concrete quality control is mandatory.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer / QA/QC Manager to lead and manage all quality assurance and quality control activities for a large-scale Data Center Project in Noida involving PEB structures, structural steel works, composite steel-concrete structures, RCC/concrete works, foundations, and associated civil works.

The candidate will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the project QA/QC system to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), applicable standards, and client/consultant requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance:

- Prepare and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, checklists, and method statements.
- Review AFC drawings, specifications, BOQ, material specifications, and project quality requirements.
- Establish inspection procedures for PEB, structural steel, composite structures, RCC, and civil works.
- Coordinate with client, consultant, contractors, subcontractors, design teams, and third-party inspection agencies.
- Ensure all materials and construction activities comply with approved specifications and applicable standards.
- Maintain complete QA/QC documentation, inspection records, test reports, MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, and quality dossiers.

2. PEB & Structural Steel Quality Control:

- Inspect incoming PEB and structural steel materials including plates, sections, bolts, welding consumables, and accessories.
- Verify Mill Test Certificates (MTCs), material grades, heat numbers, and traceability records.
- Monitor fabrication quality including:
- Cutting and profiling
- Plate preparation
- Welding
- Dimensional control
- Camber and alignment




- Surface preparation
- Painting and coating
- Review and monitor WPS, PQR, and welder qualification records.
- Coordinate and review NDT activities such as UT, MPI, and DPT.
- Inspect high-strength bolted connections, torqueing, and installation records.
- Monitor erection activities including alignment, plumbness, levels, bracing, stability, and connection details.
- Verify member identification and traceability from fabrication through erection.
- Inspect roofing, cladding, flashings, gutters, and associated PEB accessories.

3. Composite Structure Quality Control:

- Inspect composite beams, deck sheets, shear connectors/studs, and associated structural steel components.
- Verify deck profile, thickness, fixing arrangements, and end laps.
- Inspect shear stud welding quality, spacing, positioning, and testing.
- Verify reinforcement placement over metal decking.
- Check temporary supports and shoring before concrete placement.
- Monitor concrete pouring, slab thickness, levels, curing, and finishing.
- Verify openings, embedded items, sleeves, and MEP coordination prior to concrete placement.

4. RCC / Concrete Quality Control:

- Inspect reinforcement for:
- Grade and diameter
- Bar bending schedules
- Spacing and positioning
- Lap lengths
- Development lengths
- Anchorage
- Concrete cover
- Chairs and spacers
- Inspect formwork for dimensions, stability, line, level, plumbness, and cleanliness.
- Conduct pre-pour inspections and obtain necessary approvals.
- Monitor concrete batching, transportation, placing, vibration, finishing, and curing.
- Verify concrete grade, slump, temperature, and cube sampling requirements.
- Coordinate laboratory testing and compressive strength evaluations.
- Inspect foundations, pedestals, columns, beams, slabs, and other RCC elements.
- Verify construction joints, expansion joints, water stops, and embedded items.
- Monitor repairs of honeycombing, cracks, and other defects as per approved procedures.

5. Material Inspection & Testing:

- Prepare and submit Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
- Verify all materials against approved material submittals.




- Maintain material traceability from receipt through installation.
- Control and segregate non-conforming materials.
- Coordinate third-party laboratory testing and inspections.

6. Inspection & Documentation Control:

Maintain and control records for:

- MIR – Material Inspection Requests
- WIR – Work Inspection Requests
- RFI – Requests for Inspection / Information
- Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Method Statements
- Concrete Pour Cards
- Slump Test Reports
- Cube Test Reports
- Rebar Inspection Reports
- Welding Inspection Reports
- NDT Reports
- Bolt Torque Reports
- Coating / DFT Reports
- Survey & Alignment Reports
- PEB Erection Inspection Records
- NCR/CAR Records
- Final Quality Dossiers

7. NCR Management & Corrective Actions:

- Identify quality deviations and issue NCRs.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Develop and monitor Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans.
- Ensure timely NCR closure with supporting documentation.
- Maintain quality observation registers and punch-point records.
- Conduct periodic audits of subcontractors and vendors.

8. Site Coordination & Reporting:

- Attend daily and weekly quality meetings with client, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, planning, procurement, and subcontractor teams.
- Ensure inspections are completed prior to commencement of subsequent activities.
- Monitor subcontractor QA/QC performance.
- Conduct quality awareness programs and toolbox talks.
- Ensure latest approved drawings and revisions are available at site.
- Support preparation of as-built drawings and final handover documentation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly QA/QC reports.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 8-12 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects.
- Mandatory experience in Data Center Projects.
- Strong expertise in PEB/Structural Steel and RCC/Concrete Works.
- Experience in welding inspection, NDT coordination, material traceability, and quality documentation.
- Exposure to industrial, warehouse, commercial, or large infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Experience handling client and consultant inspections.
- Exposure to third-party inspections and testing agencies.
- Candidates currently working in Noida/NCR will be preferred.
