Key Responsibilities

1.

Quality

Assurance

- Develop and implement project-specific Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) and quality procedures.

- Establish quality standards, inspection procedures, checklists and method statements.

- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes and project quality standards.

- Conduct regular quality audits and process reviews across project sites.

- Identify quality risks and implement preventive measures.

2.

Quality

Control

- Monitor civil, structural, architectural and finishing works at various stages of construction.

- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and method statements.

- Review and approve material inspection and testing procedures.

- Ensure proper testing of concrete, steel, blocks, waterproofing, tiles, plastering, finishes and other construction materials.

- Monitor cube tests, soil tests, material tests and other laboratory/field testing requirements.

- Ensure inspection requests and quality documentation are completed and maintained.

3.

Site Quality

Management

- Conduct regular site inspections and quality surveillance.

- Identify deviations, defects and non-conformities and ensure timely corrective action.

- Issue and monitor NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure closure within defined timelines.

- Review snag lists / punch points and coordinate with project teams for closure.

- Monitor workmanship quality and ensure adherence to approved construction methodology.

4. Drawings &





- Technical Coordination

- Coordinate with Design, Projects, PMC, consultants, contractors and site teams on quality-related matters.

- Review approved drawings, specifications and technical documents from a quality perspective.

- Ensure the latest approved drawings and revisions are available at project sites.

- Highlight design or execution-related quality concerns and facilitate timely resolution.

5. Vendor &

- Contractor Quality

- Evaluate contractor and vendor quality performance.

- Conduct inspections at supplier/manufacturer locations wherever required.

- Ensure incoming materials conform to approved specifications and standards.

- Maintain approved vendor/material documentation and quality records.

- Drive quality improvement with contractors and subcontractors.

6. Testing &

- Compliance

- Ensure testing and inspection are carried out as per project specifications and applicable standards.

- Ensure compliance with relevant IS Codes, NBC, project specifications and statutory requirements.

- Coordinate with third-party laboratories and testing agencies.

- Review test reports and recommend corrective action wherever required.

7.

Quality

Documentation &

- MIS

- Maintain project quality records, inspection reports, test reports, checklists and approvals.

- Prepare periodic quality reports and dashboards for management review.

- Track NCRs, observations, defects, rework and quality-related KPIs.

- Maintain documentation required for project handover and final quality dossiers.
