Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of our software applications by planning and executing testing activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role offers an chance to work on challenging projects, improve testing processes, and contribute to delivering high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

- Test web, mobile, and software applications.
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Identify, report, prioritize, and track software defects and issues.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Verify bug fixes and support release validation activities.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Create and maintain testing documentation and quality reports.
- Participate in sprint planning, QA meetings, and process improvement initiatives.




- Perform API testing using tools like Postman.
- Validate data using SQL queries where required.
- Support automation testing initiatives and contribute to improving QA processes.
- Ensure applications meet defined quality standards before release.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Hands-on experience in web, mobile, and API testing.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
