Role & responsibilities

- Vendor Management: Research, select, and onboard reliable suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed. Build long-term relationships and evaluate performance regularly. [1, 2, 3]

- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service-level agreements to secure the best commercial terms. [1]

- Inventory & Demand Monitoring: Track stock levels in coordination with warehouse and operations teams to prevent costly shortages or excess inventory. [1, 2]

- Purchase Order Oversight: Review, approve, and track purchase orders from initial requisition to final delivery and payment. [1, 2]

- Cost Control & Budgeting: Analyze market trends and pricing to drive cost reduction initiatives and manage departmental spending. [1, 2]
