Job Responsibilities Source and procure mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and fabrication-related materials. Float RFQs, compare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize vendors. Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Coordinate with Design, Production, Stores, and Project teams for material requirements. Develop and maintain robust relationships with vendors.
Track order status and resolve supply-related issues. Maintain purchase records, vendor database, and documentation. Ensure procurement activities meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives. Identify alternate vendors and support cost reduction initiatives.
