We are looking for a confident, well-spoken and professionally presented Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our News & Digital Media team.

The person in this role will be responsible for developing professional relationships with prominent personalities, business leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, celebrities, social figures and other influential members of society.

The role involves approaching personalities for interviews, building relationships with them, coordinating interviews and stories, supporting publication across our Print & Digital News Platforms, collecting genuine audience feedback, and developing long-term media and business relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, networking, communication, media, public relations and business development.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and approach prominent personalities for interviews and media features.

Contact potential interviewees through calls, messages, emails and personal meetings.

Build and maintain strong, ethical and professional relationships with prominent personalities.

Follow up professionally and coordinate interviews and meetings.

Conduct or coordinate interviews and collect information about the person's professional journey, achievements, work and social contributions.

Work with the editorial team to develop compelling, inspiring and factually accurate stories.





Coordinate the publication of stories across our print newspaper and digital media platforms.

Share published stories and media coverage with the respective personality.

Collect genuine feedback, audience responses and engagement information related to published stories.

Maintain regular communication with featured personalities after publication.

Explain our media reach, publicity and branding opportunities to suitable prospective clients.

Develop long-term professional relationships that can generate legitimate media, publicity and advertising/business opportunities.

Follow up with prospective clients and coordinate with the management/business development team for conversions.

Expand the organization's qualified network within the local business and social community.

Attend networking events, meetings and other relevant events when required.

Maintain proper records of contacts, meetings, interviews, follow-ups and business opportunities.

Educational Qualification

Preferred:MBA

Graduate / Postgraduate

English Honours / English Literature background

Strong English-medium educational background

Candidates from CBSE, ICSE or equivalent English-medium educational backgrounds may be preferred
