- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for primary students as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop students’ conceptual understanding of Mathematics through activity-based and practical teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, class tests, and other learning materials.
- Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain proper classroom discipline and create a positive learning workplace.
- Identify students’ learning difficulties and provide additional support wherever required.
- Conduct remedial and enrichment activities for students based on their learning needs.
- Maintain student records, assessment data, and other academic documentation.
- Participate in PTMs, school events, meetings, training programmes, and other academic activities.
- Coordinate with parents and the academic team regarding students’ progress and development.
- Use digital tools and technology to make Mathematics learning more interactive and effective.
Required Qualification:
- Graduation in Mathematics / relevant subject from a recognized university.
- D.El.Ed. / B.El.Ed. / equivalent teacher-training qualification as applicable.
- CTET Paper-I qualification will be preferred/required as applicable to the appointment and applicable norms.
- Good command of English communication.
- Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
CBSE states that teaching-staff qualifications must follow the applicable NCTE regulations, government recruitment rules, or relevant CBSE provisions.
