Role Description The Proposal Engineer role is a full-time, in office position based in Nashik. The role involves preparing and writing technical and commercial proposals for dosing and metering pumps and systems, in response to customer inquiries and tenders. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing technical specifications, coordinating with engineering and production teams, estimating costs, and preparing competitive quotations.

The Proposal

Engineer collaborates with the sales team to understand client requirements, supports procurement with technical inputs when required, and ensures that proposals are accurate, timely, and aligned with company standards. The role may also include maintaining proposal documentation,



updating records in internal systems, and providing technical support during customer discussions.

Qualifications

- Ability to prepare and write detailed technical and commercial proposals, including strong skills in Proposal Preparation and Proposal Writing.
- Solid understanding of Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines, enabling accurate interpretation of technical specifications and system designs.
- Experience working with Sales teams to understand customer needs, develop solutions, and contribute to order finalization.
- Familiarity with Procurement processes, including coordination with suppliers for technical data, cost inputs, and delivery timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to prepare cost estimates and perform basic calculations for sizing and selection.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with ERP or CRM tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Nashik, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple proposals within deadlines.
