Location: Bangalore, with regular travel to branch sites across India

Experience: 810 years in civil engineering / construction project management, preferably with exposure to interior fit-out, banking/retail branch rollouts, or strong room construction

Role Overview

IGS Projects is executing strong room construction and turnkey interior fit-out for bank branches on behalf of a leading NBFC client. We're looking for a Project Manager to independently monitor and drive execution across multiple live branch sites — coordinating labour, contractors, and civil work to ensure each site is delivered on time, on spec, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor day-to-day progress across multiple branch project sites simultaneously
- Schedule and assign daily/weekly tasks to labour teams based on project stage and priority
- Identify execution issues on site and prescribe corrective/rectification steps using sound civil engineering judgment
- Guide site staff and labour on correct construction methods, especially for strong room and civil work
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard contractors/sub-contractors for civil, electrical, plumbing, and allied works
- Negotiate scope and pricing with contractors; verify BOQs and flag pricing discrepancies




- Track material procurement and ensure quality/quantity compliance at site
- Maintain project status updates (site visits, photos, timelines) for internal tracking
- Liaise with client representatives and internal management on progress, delays, and approvals
- Ensure safety and quality standards are followed across all active sites

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech preferred at this experience level)
- Graduate qualification in Project Management from IIPM or an equivalent/relevant institution.
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience managing civil/interior construction projects, ideally with multi-site responsibility
- Strong working knowledge of civil construction methods, RCC work, and strong room/vault construction is a plus
- Proven experience managing labour teams and coordinating with contractors/vendors
- Ability to read and work from architectural/structural drawings and BOQs
- Comfortable with frequent travel between branch sites
- Solid communication skills — able to write clear site reports and coordinate with client-side teams
- Working knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with project tracking tools is a plus
