Position: Project Manager

Location : Tambaram, Chennai.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and organized Project Manager – Cafe to manage the planning, development, and execution of cafe projects from concept to opening. The role will coordinate with contractors, architects, designers, suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and according to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage the complete cafe project from initial concept through opening.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, milestones, and execution plans.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Manage civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, furniture, signage, and interior works.
- Source and coordinate with vendors for equipment, furniture, fixtures, and cafe supplies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Track project costs and maintain budget control.
- Inspect work quality and ensure specifications and design standards are followed.
- Identify project risks, delays, and issues and take corrective action.
- Coordinate approvals, licenses, permits, and other required documentation.
- Manage installation and testing of kitchen and cafe equipment.
- Coordinate recruitment, training, and operational preparation before opening.
- Work with the operations team to develop SOPs, checklists, and opening procedures.
- Conduct regular site meetings and provide progress reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety,



hygiene, fire, and applicable local regulations.
- Coordinate the final inspection, snagging, rectification, and handover of the cafe.
- Support the launch and opening of the cafe.

Requirements
- BE or diploma in Project Management, Electrical, Construction, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience managing cafe, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or commercial interior projects.
- Strong project planning and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of construction, interiors, MEP, kitchen equipment, and fit-out work.
- Strong vendor and contractor management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, or other project-management tools.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Pay: ₹10,890.89 - ₹22,000.00 per month
