TCI Foundation an autonomous organization works in the development and implementation of national development programs/projects in coordination with the Government, Public Sector Undertakings, National and International development agencies to serve the nation with motto of equality and better life for all citizens in the country.

TCI Foundation invites applications for one (1) position of Program Coordinator purely on contractual basis. The selected candidate on this position would be required to provide optometric services to the truck drivers and allied population plying on national and state highways.

(i) Posting Location:

The position shall be based at following location:

(a) Auto Nagar, Gajuwaka, Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh one position

(ii) Responsibilities:

- Managing the day-to-day activities of the vision centre involves a range of tasks and responsibilities aimed at ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the facility.
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the National Truckers Eye Health Program, including planning and organizing vision screening events, educational workshops, and outreach initiatives for truck drivers across multiple locations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the program team, partner organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders involved in the National Truckers Eye Health Program, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Generate regular reports, dashboards, and summaries of program data and outcomes to track progress, identify trends, and inform decision-making at the national level.
- Collect, compile, and enter data related to program activities, participant demographics, health assessments, and screening results into electronic databases and reporting systems, maintaining the accuracy and confidentiality of all data.
- Assist in the development and dissemination of educational materials, resources, and promotional campaigns to raise awareness about eye health and the National Truckers Eye Health Program among target audiences.
- Coordinate logistics and logistics, such as scheduling, travel arrangements, and procurement of supplies and equipment, for program activities and events held nationwide.
- Support program evaluation efforts by administering surveys, conducting data analysis,



and preparing evaluation reports to assess program impact, effectiveness, and areas for improvement.
- Provide administrative support to the program team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, drafting correspondence, and maintaining organized files and records.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with program guidelines, regulatory requirements, and reporting obligations set forth by funding agencies and governing bodies.
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and career development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in project management, data analysis, and public health.
- Enhance awareness of eye health among visiting drivers and associated personnel at the centre and the camps.
- Provide counselling to drivers and associated workers regarding adherence to prescribed spectacles or treatments.
- Establish networking and advocacy efforts with stakeholders, particularly with relevant departments and transportation owners and associations.
- Evaluate patient satisfaction levels and propose any necessary adjustments in collaboration with the team and the Zonal team.
- Coordinate with fleet owners and logistics hub management teams to arrange eye-testing camp events on special occasions such as World Sight Day, Road Safety Week, Drivers' Day, and Truckers' Day.
- Schedule follow-up appointments for each patient visiting the Vision Centre using reminder stickers and advise them to affix them to the front glass of their trucks.

(iii) Working Hours: 9000 hrs to 1730 hrs (iv) Required Skills:
- Proven experience in project coordination, data entry, or administrative support roles, preferably in a healthcare, public health, or community-based organization.
- Proficiency in data entry and database management, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)



and experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems or data management software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping, with a commitment to maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders, including program staff, partners, vendors, and government officials.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to the mission and goals of the National Truckers Eye Health Program, with a passion for promoting health equity and improving health outcomes for truck drivers and underserved populations.
- Knowledge of public health principles, program management concepts, and community-based approaches to addressing health disparities is preferred.

(v) Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in public health, health administration, social sciences, or related field preferred; relevant work experience in project coordination, data management, or public health may be considered instead of a degree.

(vi) Nature of appointment: The appointment will be on contract basis initially till 31 March 2027 and thereafter extendable for specified period based on performance appraisal to be assessed for work output, personal attributes, functional competency etc and continuation of project by the Grantor.

(vii) Reporting: Immediate Reporting will be to Sr. Vice President, TCIL or any person authorised by him and shall keep them fully informed of all steps and actions taken by the Consultant in the performance of its obligations.

(viii) Deliverables: The Program Coordinator will be required to submit a monthly activity report and annual report to Sr. Vice President, TCIL. Performance appraisal would include review of monthly activity reports, camps conducted, timely completion of activities & innovations done and annual assessment
