About the Role

We are looking for a Production Planning & Control (PPC) professional to manage and coordinate production planning activities, ensuring that manufacturing schedules are aligned with customer requirements, available resources, and delivery commitments.

The candidate will work closely with Production, Quality, Stores, Purchase, Engineering, and other teams to ensure smooth production flow, timely material availability, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and manage production plans and schedules based on customer requirements, order priorities, and delivery timelines.
- Plan and coordinate machine capacity, manpower, materials, tooling, and other production resources.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Purchase, Engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of production plans.
- Monitor daily production progress against planned schedules and identify delays, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints.
- Maintain and regularly update production schedules, job-status reports, and planning trackers.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, tools, consumables, and components required for production.
- Track and monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) and finished goods to ensure smooth movement through the production process.
- Coordinate with Stores and Purchase teams for material availability and inventory requirements.
- Prepare daily/weekly production reports, MIS reports, and delivery status updates for management.




- Monitor production commitments and highlight potential delivery risks in advance.
- Support improvement of machine utilization, manpower utilization, production efficiency, and overall productivity.
- Maintain accurate production planning records and ensure timely updating of ERP/MRP systems.
- Analyse production data and support management in identifying opportunities for process and planning improvements.
- Follow company quality, safety, documentation, and production procedures.

Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Production Planning & Control (PPC) processes.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including production trackers, reports, and data analysis.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of machine capacity planning, material planning, WIP, and inventory coordination.
- Ability to monitor multiple production orders and prioritize activities based on delivery requirements.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and shop-floor personnel.

Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Candidates with relevant experience in manufacturing / engineering production environments will be preferred.

Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in Production Planning & Control, Production Planning, PPC, or a similar manufacturing role.
- Experience in precision manufacturing, aerospace, defence, automotive, CNC machining, fabrication, or engineering industries will be an added advantage.
