Job Summary

Floking Pipes Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Plant Head / Works Manager to take complete responsibility for factory operations, including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Stores, Dispatch, Safety, Administration, Security, and plant discipline.

The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, improving machine uptime, controlling wastage and costs, maintaining product quality, ensuring timely dispatch, managing manpower, and driving overall plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate complete plant operations and cross-functional teams.
- Plan and monitor daily/monthly production against targets.
- Manage Production, Maintenance, Quality, Stores, Dispatch, Safety and Admin functions.
- Monitor machine uptime, breakdowns, preventive maintenance and utilities.
- Ensure quality standards, in-process inspection, final product quality and traceability.
- Control raw-material consumption, rejection, wastage, scrap and operating costs.
- Ensure timely dispatch and coordination with Sales/Logistics.
- Manage manpower, shift discipline, productivity and shop-floor operations.
- Ensure plant safety, housekeeping,



statutory compliance and audit readiness.
- Prepare and report key plant MIS including production, downtime, quality, rejection, inventory and dispatch.

Candidate Profile
- 12–20 years of total experience, with minimum 5 years in plant leadership.
- Experience in PVC / HDPE / CPVC / OPVC / plastic pipe / extrusion / continuous manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong understanding of production planning, extrusion processes, quality, maintenance and factory operations.
- Strong leadership, manpower-management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in cost reduction, productivity improvement, RCA/CAPA and process improvement.
- Engineering qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Polymer, Plastics, Production or Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Solid MS Excel/MIS and reporting skills.
- Hands-on, disciplined and comfortable being present on the shop floor.
