About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Production In-Charge Cow Dung Products to manage and supervise the complete production operations of a cow-dung-based product manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for raw material handling, production planning, processing, manpower management, quality control, machinery coordination, inventory, packaging and dispatch, while ensuring efficient, hygienic and secure production operations. The role is suitable for candidates with experience in organic manure, compost, vermicompost, bio-inputs, agricultural products, cattle-waste processing, biomass products, or similar manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day production activities of the cow-dung products manufacturing unit.
- Plan production as per daily/weekly/monthly production targets.
- Manage the collection, receiving, segregation and proper storage of cow dung and other required raw materials.
- Supervise production processes such as drying, composting, vermicomposting, mixing, processing, formulation, moulding, packing or other applicable product processes.
- Ensure proper moisture, drying, fermentation/composting and processing conditions as applicable to the product.
- Supervise production manpower, allocate duties and monitor attendance and productivity.
- Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials, manpower, machinery and production capacity.




- Coordinate with maintenance teams for smooth functioning of production machinery and equipment.
- Monitor production quality and ensure consistency in finished-product appearance, moisture, texture, weight and packaging as applicable.
- Maintain proper production records, batch records, raw-material consumption and wastage reports.
- Ensure proper hygiene, housekeeping, safety and waste-management practices at the production site.
- Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective action to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
- Coordinate with the Quality/Management team regarding product specifications and quality issues.
- Ensure proper packing, labelling, storage and dispatch of finished products.
- Train and guide production workers regarding SOPs, safety and handling procedures.
- Prepare regular daily, weekly and monthly production reports for management.
- Support management in improving production efficiency, product quality and operational cost.
- Ensure compliance with applicable company procedures and environmental/safety requirements.

Candidate Eligibility

- Graduate / Diploma / ITI / Agriculture-related qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3 Years Experience preferred in production, manufacturing or processing operations.
- Experience in cow dung products, organic manure, compost, vermicompost, bio-inputs, biomass, agricultural products or similar industries will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in Gaushala, dairy waste management, organic farming inputs or sustainable waste-utilization operations may also be considered.
