Salary ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead and manage day-to-day plastic manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, improving productivity, maintaining quality standards, reducing manufacturing costs, and managing production manpower and machines efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily production activities and manpower
- Plan and monitor production schedules
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved
- Monitor machine performance and production efficiency
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality and packing teams
- Maintain production records and reports
- Ensure workplace safety and process compliance
- Plan, organize and control daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Manage complete production operations including Injection Moulding / Extrusion / Blow Moulding / Plastic Processing, as applicable.
- Prepare production plans based on customer requirements and dispatch schedules.
- Monitor machine utilization, cycle time, rejection, downtime and overall production efficiency.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, moulds, raw materials and other resources.
- Drive OEE improvement, productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor production quality and coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, Stores and PPC teams.




- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Reduce rejection, rework, scrap and material wastage.
- Ensure preventive maintenance activities are carried out in coordination with the Maintenance team.
- Maintain production reports, MIS, KPI dashboards and daily/monthly performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, SOPs and safety standards.
- Lead and develop production supervisors, engineers, operators and contract manpower.
- Handle shift planning, manpower allocation and production performance monitoring.
- Coordinate with PPC/Planning, Purchase, Quality, Maintenance and Dispatch teams.
- Implement continuous improvement projects for productivity, quality and manufacturing cost.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures and statutory requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile
- 8–12 years of experience in plastic manufacturing / production operations.
- Strong experience in production planning, manpower management and shop-floor operations.
- Hands-on experience with plastic processing machinery and moulding processes.
- Good knowledge of OEE, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM and continuous improvement.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving and team-management skills.
- Ability to manage production targets under pressure.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
