Key Responsibilities a. Issuance of RM and handover to shop floor.

b. Maintain and organize daily, weekly and monthly report and report daily to Manager and Dy. Manager.

c. Ensure that the production schedule meets quality, lead-time and cost requirements.

d. Ensure the safety of staff, equipment and the neighborhood, and that operations comply with environmental requirements.

e. Ensure that equipment undergoing maintenance is made safe.

f. Ensure that operating instructions and quality assurance documents are updated and followed.

g. Ensure that people are motivated and efficient in order to maintain high-level team performance.

h. Help to improve the facility’s productivity and operating conditions.

i. Help to foster greater synergy between Production, Maintenance and Inspection.

j. Solving and troubleshooting in the production process to find the root cause.

k. Responsible for the technical coordination and control of the chemical production processes l. Addressing any production disputes and diverting the urgent ones to the Production Manager/Dy. Manager.

m. Providing training on operations to chemist and operators.

n. Enhance plant capability for EU GMP, US FDA & other external audits o. Ensure implementation of GDP (Good Documentation Practices) which includes online filling of BMR and other GMP documents.

p. Coordinate between Stores, Maintenance dept., Purchase dept., Dispatch dept., Personnel dept., Quality Control dept., Q. A. dept. and EHS dept. Coordination should be in such a way that work should be done smoothly.

Raw Material consumption ratio should be maintain and try to reduce it. You are responsible for maintain Quality as per different Pharmacopeias and requirement of Marketing dept.

r. Responsible for maintaining minimum solvent loss. Also try to recover maximum quantity of recoverable material.

s. Responsible for finished goods up to the final packing and transfer to BSR.

t. Responsible for maintaining ‘GOOD HOUSE KEEPING’ in plant.

u. Responsible for maintaining Setting parameters as per requirement of CPCB/GPCB/CETP.

v. Responsible for taking precaution for safety in plant. And also responsible for maintaining rules and regulation as per Factor act.

w. Boiler: Responsible for proper utilization of steam and monitoring of consumption of fuel. Also plan for preventive maintenance coordination with maintenance dept.

x. Chilling Plant/Cooling Tower: Responsible for utilization of chilled water. Also see that unwanted chilling plant and cooling Tower should not be run. Plan for preventive maintenance coordination with maintenance dept.

y. Electricity: Responsible for proper utilization of electricity and unwanted machinery should not be run and reduce electricity consumption.

z. Water: Responsible for proper utilization of water and also see that always underground and overhead tank should be full of water. Stop wastage of water at all the level.





Qualification and Experiences a. Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) minimum 5 years / Masters in Science (Chemistry) minimum 3 years or Engineer 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing API business.

b. A certification / degree in Operation Management is preferred c. Experience in US FDA approval, GMP compliance and practice is compulsory
