Product QA Lead

About the Role

We are looking for a Product QA Lead who will take complete ownership of the product's quality, from the initial requirement and code commit all the way through release and production.

This is not just a testing role. We are looking for someone who can act as a technical QA architect, quality decision-maker, process owner, and people leader. You will be responsible for building a robust quality culture across the organization and ensuring that quality is considered at every stage of product development.

Responsibilities

- End-to-End Quality Ownership – Own product quality across requirements,

development, testing, release, and production.

Scalable

Automation – Build and maintain robust automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

Quality

Gates & Release Decisions – Define release criteria, assess risks, and confidently recommend or stop releases based on quality.

- Data-Driven Quality – Track metrics such as defect leakage, test coverage, automation coverage, resolution time, and production issues.

5.

Systems

Thinking – Look beyond functional testing and cover performance, security,

integrations, edge cases, reliability, and UX.

- Team Leadership & Mentorship – Lead, mentor,



and upskill QA engineers while building a strong automation-focused QA team.

7.

Quality

Advocacy – Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams, challenge quality risks, and make quality a shared responsibility.

Automation & CI/CD Expertise: You know how to architect scalable automated testing frameworks and bake them directly into the deployment pipeline.

Systems Thinking: You don't just hunt for broken buttons. You look at the whole picture—performance under load, security, edge cases, and user experience.

- Data-Driven Decision Making: You rely on concrete metrics (defect leakage, test coverage, time-to-resolution) over "gut feelings" to prove product health.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: You have a proven track record of upskilling engineers, transitioning manual testers to automation, and building high-performing QA squads.

Qualification

Bachelors or master's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
