Procurement & Operations Executive – Biomass Manufacturing

Rohit Exergy India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a practical, hardworking and field-oriented Procurement & Operations Executive to support our biomass pellet manufacturing operations.

This is a hands-on field role involving raw material sourcing, supplier development, market visits, purchasing, transportation coordination and day-to-day plant requirements.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable travelling, making cold calls, visiting suppliers, negotiating prices and getting things done rather than being limited to desk-based work.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and develop suppliers for wood waste, sawdust, wood chips and other suitable biomass raw materials.
- Make regular calls and field visits to identify recent suppliers and material sources.
- Visit sawmills, furniture units, plywood/wood-processing units, timber markets and other potential sources.
- Comfortable travelling 50–200+ km when required.
- Negotiate purchase rates and coordinate material collection.
- Coordinate with suppliers and transporters to ensure timely delivery of material to the plant.
- Monitor daily raw material requirements and ensure timely fulfilment.
- Assist with procurement of other materials required for day-to-day plant operations.
- Source spare parts, tools, electrical items, hardware, consumables and other local requirements when needed.
- Coordinate with local vendors, mechanics, transporters and service providers.
- Support loading, unloading,



dispatch and other practical plant-related activities when required.
- Maintain basic records of suppliers, rates, purchases, deliveries and market information.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure they are completed on time.

Who We Are Looking For
- 10th / 12th pass or above.
- Freshers can apply, but field experience will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in procurement, field sales, local purchasing, logistics, trading, construction material, wood/biomass, scrap or similar field-based work may be considered.
- Must be comfortable travelling extensively for supplier visits and sourcing.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
- Basic smartphone, WhatsApp and Google Maps knowledge.
- Good Hindi communication and basic ability to maintain records.
- Should be confident in speaking with suppliers, shopkeepers, factory owners, transporters and vendors.
- Must be practical, energetic and willing to take responsibility.
- Willingness to travel and work in the field is essential.

Compensation Fixed Pay: ₹17,000–₹24,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.

Travel allowance/reimbursement will be provided separately for official travel.
