Job Summary

We are looking for a caring, energetic, and responsible Preschool Teacher who can create a safe, engaging, and child-friendly learning environment. The teacher will support the overall development of young children through structured learning, play-based activities, creativity, social interaction, and age-appropriate classroom experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct age-appropriate classroom activities based on early childhood learning principles.
- Create engaging lessons using play, storytelling, rhymes, art, music, movement, and hands-on activities.
- Support children's language, cognitive, social, emotional, motor, and self-help skills.
- Maintain a safe, positive, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Observe each child's development and maintain appropriate progress records.
- Identify children who may require additional developmental support and communicate observations to the Centre Head.
- Encourage positive behaviour, independence, sharing, communication, and classroom routines.
- Provide individual attention and support according to each child's learning needs.
- Prepare teaching aids, worksheets, activity materials, and classroom displays.
- Conduct circle time, story sessions, indoor and outdoor play activities.
- Assist children with feeding, toileting, hygiene, and basic self-care when required.
- Ensure proper supervision of children at all times.
- Maintain daily attendance and classroom documentation.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding the child's activities, progress,



and classroom participation.
- Participate in parent meetings, school events, celebrations, field activities, and special programs.
- Coordinate with therapists, psychologists, special educators, and other professionals when required.
- Follow the centre's Child Protection Policy, safety procedures, and qualified code of conduct.
- Perform other academic or classroom responsibilities assigned by the Centre Head or Management.

Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Teacher Training, NTT, Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field.
- Montessori / ECCE certification will be preferred.

Experience
- Freshers with suitable qualifications may apply.
- 1–2 years of preschool or early childhood teaching experience will be preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong interest in working with young children.
- Patience, empathy, creativity, and positive attitude.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Ability to conduct creative and play-based learning activities.
- Basic understanding of child development and developmental milestones.
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.

Preferred Candidate The ideal candidate should be child-friendly, energetic, creative, patient, responsible, and passionate about early childhood development, with the ability to build a warm and nurturing relationship with children while maintaining appropriate classroom structure and discipline. Reporting To: Centre Head / Preschool Coordinator

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
