Job Summary The PPC Executive is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities for sheet metal fabrication and machining operations. The role ensures efficient utilization of machines, manpower, and materials to achieve on-time delivery of customer orders.

The position requires close coordination with sales, purchase, production, quality, and stores departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of fabrication and machining jobs.

Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Scheduling

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery commitments.
- Plan production activities for laser cutting, bending, punching, welding, machining, assembly, and finishing.
- Develop machine loading plans considering machine capacity and manpower availability.
- Create and release work orders/job cards through ERP or planning systems.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to avoid delays.

1. Material Requirement Planning (MRP)

- Verify availability of raw materials such as sheet metal, plates, pipes, and sections before releasing production orders.
- Generate Material Requirement Plans (MRP)



based on BOM and production schedules.
- Coordinate with the purchase department for timely procurement of raw materials and consumables.
- Ensure proper stock levels to prevent production stoppages.

1. Shop Floor Coordination

- Coordinate with production teams including cutting, bending, welding, machining, and assembly sections.
- Track production progress against plan and update status in ERP.
- Identify production bottlenecks and capacity constraints and escalate to management.
- Monitor machine utilization for equipment like:
- Laser cutting machines
- CNC/VMC machines
- Press brake machines
- Welding stations

1. Outsourcing & Vendor Coordination

- Coordinate with vendors for outsourced operations such as:
- Powder coating
- Heat treatment
- Galvanizing
- Specialized machining
- Track dispatch and receipt of outsourced materials.
- Ensure vendor processes meet quality and delivery timelines.

1. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain production records in ERP systems or MS Excel.
- Prepare daily production reports, MIS reports, and planning dashboards.
- Track KPIs such as plan vs actual production, machine utilization, and order status.
- Maintain documentation for work order closure and material reconciliation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
