Purpose/Objective To ensure reliable, protected, and efficient power distribution across the cement plant by managing electrical distribution systems, substations, switchgears, transformers, and related equipment.

The role is responsible for maintaining continuous power availability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Key Responsibilities - Monitor and maintain HT/LT power distribution systems across the plant.

- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to all production and utility areas.
- Operate and maintain electrical substations, transformers, switchgears, PCCs, MCCs, and associated distribution equipment.
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities for power distribution assets.
- Analyze electrical faults, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize breakdowns.
- Coordinate shutdown activities and ensure timely restoration of electrical systems.
- Monitor power quality parameters and implement measures for energy optimization.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company safety procedures.




- Maintain electrical drawings, SOPs, maintenance records, and equipment history.
- Coordinate with operation, mechanical, and instrumentation teams for plant reliability improvement initiatives.
- Manage contractors and service providers engaged in electrical maintenance activities.
- Support energy conservation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Tech in Electrical Engineering.

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering may be considered for experienced candidates. Experience - 5 to 12 years of experience in power distribution, electrical maintenance, or utility operations in Cement, Steel, Power, Mining, or other process industries.

- Experience in handling HT/LT systems, substations, transformers, and switchgear maintenance.
