Corporate Infotech Pvt. Ltd. (CIPL) is looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Database Developer to support the BiharOne Project.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining robust, secure, and high-performing PostgreSQL databases for enterprise applications.

Location: Noida / Patna

Experience: 5+ Years

Qualification: MCA / M.Sc. (IT) / B.Tech / B.E.

Key Responisbilities

Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, schemas, tables, indexes, and partitions.

- Develop stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views using PL/pgSQL.
- Optimize complex SQL queries and improve database performance and scalability.
- Implement database health practices including MVCC, VACUUM, ANALYZE, and advanced indexing.
- Support ETL pipelines and data integration processes.
- Develop and manage database backup, restoration, replication, and disaster recovery processes.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot database-related issues.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks proactively.
- Work closely with application developers, data architects, and BI teams.
- Implement database security, access control, and data governance best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, schemas, tables, indexes, and partitions.
- Develop stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views using PL/pgSQL.
- Optimize complex SQL queries and perform database performance tuning.
- Work with MVCC, VACUUM, ANALYZE, indexing, and partitioning.
- Manage database backup, restoration, replication, and disaster recovery processes.
- Monitor database health and troubleshoot performance-related issues.
- Analyze execution plans and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Support ETL pipelines and data integration activities.
- Implement database security, access control, and data governance best practices.
- Collaborate with application developers, architects, infrastructure teams,



and project stakeholders.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL Database Development
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL 11+ & PL/pgSQL
- Expertise in SQL query optimization and performance tuning
- Good understanding of stored procedures, functions, triggers, constraints, indexing, and partitioning
- Hands-on experience with pg_dump, pg_restore & Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR)
- Experience with PostgreSQL replication
- Experience handling large-scale production databases
- Knowledge of database security, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting

Cloud & Additional Skills: Exposure to cloud-hosted PostgreSQL services such as AWS RDS, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, or Google Cloud SQL will be an advantage.

Experience with ETL tools, Python-based solutions, DevOps/CI-CD pipelines, MySQL, Oracle, or NoSQL databases will be an added advantage.
