Role Description The Podcaster Intern is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the planning, production, and promotion of podcast episodes. Day-to-day tasks include researching topics and guests, assisting with script outlines and episode structure, and participating in interviews or recording sessions as needed.

The intern will help with scheduling, preparing interview questions, organizing show notes, and coordinating basic audio edits with the production team.

The role also involves drafting episode descriptions, managing social media updates for new releases, and monitoring audience feedback. This position offers exposure to the full podcasting workflow and collaboration with content, marketing, and technical teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interviewing skills to engage guests, ask transparent questions, and contribute to compelling conversations.
- Candidates should possess solid Writing skills to craft episode outlines, show notes,



descriptions, and promotional copy.
- Candidates should possess Research skills to identify relevant topics, understand audience interests, and prepare informed questions and talking points.
- Candidates should possess Social Media skills to support promotion of episodes, engage with listeners, and help grow the podcast’s online presence.
- Interest in podcasting, audio storytelling, or digital media; familiarity with podcast platforms and basic audio concepts is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented mindset with openness to feedback and willingness to learn new tools and workflows.
- Relevant coursework or experience in communications, journalism, media studies, or a related field is a plus but not required.
