We are looking for a safety-focused and hands-on Plant Operator with experience in the pigment, dyes, or specialty chemicals manufacturing sector. The role involves executing batch processes, handling chemical reactions, milling/grinding, filtration, and drying operations while strictly maintaining quality parameters (such as shade, strength, and dispersion) and EHS (Workplace, Health, and Safety) standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Batch Charging &
- Reaction Handling:

Accurately charge raw materials (pigment intermediates, dyes, acids, alkalis, and solvents) into reactors, mixing vessels, and dispersion units as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Process Operation: Operate and monitor key pigment-processing equipment, including reaction kettles, precipitation tanks, filter presses, spin-flash/tray driers, and pulverizers/jet mills.

- Parameter Monitoring: Closely monitor critical process controls such as temperature, pH, pressure, and agitation speed to ensure uniform batch quality and consistency.

- Quality Control Support: Draw routine in-process samples to check parameters like shade, purity, viscosity, and moisture content, coordinating closely with the QC laboratory.

- Filtration &

- Drying Support:

Manage slurry filtration,



washing cycles, and drying stages to prevent contamination and achieve desired physical properties.

- Safety &

- Housekeeping:

Adhere strictly to hazardous chemical handling guidelines, use necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE / respirators), and maintain pristine housekeeping to prevent dust accumulation and cross-contamination.

Candidate Requirements

- Qualification:

- ITI (in relevant trades like Fitter, Instrument Mechanic, or Attendant Operator) OR

- AOCP (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant) trade certificate.

- Experience: 1 to 3 years of practical plant operation experience, preferably within a pigment manufacturing, dyes, organic chemicals, or fine chemicals industry.

- Key Skills &
- Competencies:

- Basic knowledge of chemical reactions, filtration, and drying techniques.

- Awareness of toxic/hazardous material safety and solid/liquid waste management.

- Ability to read process flow and P&ID; diagrams.

- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts (including night shifts).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
