The Plant Head at SDH Naturals will be responsible for overseeing the overall manufacturing operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality control, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective team management. The role demands strategic planning, process optimisation, and maintaining smooth plant operations to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily plant operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, and supply chain management.

- Ensure adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA, FSSAI, and AYUSH regulations for herbal/nutraceutical products.

- Plan and optimize production schedules, raw material procurement, and inventory management to meet market demand.

- Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency while maintaining high product quality.

- Lead and mentor plant staff, production managers, and technical teams to ensure productivity and workplace safety.

- Ensure statutory compliance related to workplace,



health, and safety (EHS).

- Management of Team Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Inventory teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with standards.

- Implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs for plant machinery and equipment.

Experience & Qualification:

- Education: B.Tech/ M.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Food Technology, or a related field. A degree in Pharmaceutical or Ayurveda/Nutraceutical manufacturing is a plus.

- Experience: 12-18 years of experience in herbal, nutraceutical, or pharma, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.

- Proven experience in process automation, cost-saving initiatives, and production efficiency improvement.
