Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Planning & Data Analyst to manage production planning activities and analyze operational data to improve production efficiency, machine utilization, order fulfilment, and overall business performance.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of manufacturing/production planning along with strong skills in Advanced Excel, MIS, data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, delivery schedules, machine capacity, raw material availability, GSM, width, and product requirements.
- Monitor planned vs. actual production and identify production gaps and delays.
- Coordinate with Production, Sales/CRM, Stores, Quality, Purchase, and Dispatch teams for smooth execution of production plans.
- Prepare and maintain Daily/Weekly/Monthly Production MIS reports.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Track machine-wise production, machine utilization, downtime, wastage, rejection, changeover time, and production efficiency.
- Monitor pending orders and support the team in prioritizing production according to delivery commitments.
- Analyze production capacity and assist in capacity planning and forecasting.




- Track raw material requirements against production plans and highlight shortages.
- Develop and maintain Excel/Power BI dashboards for management review.
- Automate regular reports using Advanced Excel, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and Power BI.
- Prepare variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.
- Maintain accurate production databases and ensure timely reporting.
- Participate in production review meetings and present key performance indicators.

Required Skills
- Advanced MS Excel – Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, charts, dashboards, etc.
- Power Query and data cleaning
- Power BI – preferred
- MIS reporting and data analysis
- Production planning and scheduling
- Capacity planning and forecasting
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Knowledge of ERP/MIS systems is an advantage

Qualification Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Operations, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per year
