Job Summary:

nWe are looking for an experienced PL/SQL Support Engineer with 8+ years of handson experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and production support. The ideal

ncandidate should have strong troubleshooting and debugging skills and preferably have

nexperience working in a logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related domain.

n

nThe role requires someone who can independently handle production issues, analyze

ncomplex PL/SQL code, troubleshoot database-related problems, and provide timely

nsupport to business-critical applications.

n

nKey Responsibilities:

n

n• Provide L2/L3 production support for Oracle database and PL/SQL-based

napplications.

n• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot PL/SQL procedures, functions,

npackages, triggers, and complex SQL queries.

n• Analyze and resolve production issues within defined SLAs.

n• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring and critical issues.

n• Troubleshoot database performance issues and optimize SQL queries and

nPL/SQL code.

n• Monitor batch jobs, interfaces, and scheduled processes and resolve failures.

n• Work closely with application, functional, and business teams to understand

nand resolve issues.

n• Perform data analysis and data fixes when required, following appropriate

nchange-control procedures.

n• Handle incident, problem, and change management activities.





n• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing activities.

n• Participate in production deployments, release activities, and post-deployment

nvalidation.

nRequired Skills:

n• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL.

n• Strong experience in:

n• Strong production support and troubleshooting experience.

n• Good understanding of Oracle database architecture and performance

n• Experience with SQL query optimization and database performance analysis.

n• Ability to debug and resolve complex production issues independently.

n• Experience with batch jobs, scheduling, and data interfaces.

n• Valuable communication and stakeholder-management skills.

nPreferred / Domain Experience:

n

n• Experience in Logistics / Transportation / Supply Chain applications is highly

npreferred.

n• Experience working with transportation management, shipment, order,

nwarehouse, routing, or delivery-related systems will be an advantage.

n• Candidates with strong PL/SQL production support experience in other

nbusiness-critical domains may also be considered.
