Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physiotherapist – Fresher based in Thiruvananthapuram. The Physiotherapist will assess patients under supervision, assist in developing individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic exercises and manual therapy as guided by senior clinicians. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, documenting clinical findings accurately, and educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and preventive care.

The role also involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, maintaining hygiene and safety standards in treatment areas, and participating in case discussions and training sessions to build clinical skills.



The position is designed to support newly qualified physiotherapists in developing professional competence within a structured and supportive environment.

Qualifications

- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized institution; internship or clinical rotation in musculoskeletal, neurological, or cardiopulmonary physiotherapy preferred.
- Solid foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and rehabilitation principles, with the ability to apply evidence-based practices under supervision.
- Strong patient interaction skills, including clear communication, empathy, and the ability to explain treatment plans and exercises in an understandable manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, follow clinical protocols, and adapt to a structured, fast-paced rehabilitation environment.
- Basic proficiency in clinical documentation, use of physiotherapy equipment, and adherence to safety and infection control standards.
- Willingness to learn, openness to feedback, and interest in building a long-term career in rehabilitation; familiarity with local languages spoken in Thiruvananthapuram is Mandatory.
- Registration with the appropriate skilled or state council (where applicable) and eligibility to practice physiotherapy.
