Job Title: ENGLISH Teacher (PGT/TGT)

Location: Mir Public School, Ali Vihar, Current Delhi, Delhi 110076

Responsible for creating an excellent learning environment for students, enabling them to achieve intellectual, emotional, and academic growth in the field of English.

Responsible for Planning, Teaching and Class Management for middle, secondary and senior secondary classes (VI–XII), as applicable.

Responsible for Monitoring, Assessment, Recording, Reporting and Curriculum Development in English.

Special emphasis on English Literature, Grammar, Reading, Writing, Speaking, Communication and Critical Thinking skills.

Experience in differentiated and collaborative learning methodologies.

Responsible for delivering English lessons in accordance with the prescribed CBSE/ISC curriculum.

Able to integrate literature, grammar, vocabulary, communication skills, activities, discussions and real-life applications into lesson plans.

Identify and select appropriate teaching methods and instructional resources to meet diverse student needs.





Mark and monitor students’ work regularly and set clear targets for academic improvement.

Assess and record student progress systematically and maintain accurate academic records.

Encourage students to develop strong reading, writing, speaking and comprehension skills.

Enforce discipline and maintain appropriate standards of student behavior within the classroom and school premises.

Implement school policies while coordinating with students, parents, and colleagues.

Should have strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Possess thorough knowledge of English Literature, Grammar, Language, Reading Comprehension, Writing Skills and Communication.
