About the Organization

Community Action Through Motivation Programme (CAMP) is a leading NGO established in 2001, working across India on key developmental areas such as healthcare, sanitation, safe drinking water, nutrition, adolescent health, life skills education, gender sensitization, and community awareness.

Under the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) Project, Assam, CAMP provides essential primary healthcare services to rural and hard-to-reach communities in collaboration with the Government, ensuring quality healthcare at the doorstep.

Job Responsibilities – Ophthalmic Assistant

Conduct vision screening and basic eye examinations at the MMU.

Assist the Medical Officer in diagnosing common eye conditions.

Operate, handle, and maintain ophthalmic instruments and equipment.

Provide counselling on eye care, preventive measures,



and follow-up care.

Maintain patient records, screening reports, and daily documentation.

Support outreach activities, eye-health awareness sessions, and field camps.

Coordinate with field staff to ensure smooth service delivery.

Follow all MMU protocols, reporting standards, and safety guidelines.
