Role & responsibilities

- The Securities Settlements group within Shared Services manages daily settlement operations and process improvements for securities transactions. This role oversees settlement teams, handles complex issues, and implements operational enhancements while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- The position focuses on executing automation initiatives, implementing new technologies, and managing daily settlement efficiency.

Key responsibilities include optimizing settlement processes, reducing fails, and supporting AI/digital transformation projects. The role requires strong operational knowledge to identify and implement process improvements.

- Value creation comes through productive team management, process streamlining, and reduction in settlement fails and operational costs.



The role involves coordinating with key stakeholders including operations teams, technology partners, and external vendors.
- Deep understanding of securities settlement processes and market infrastructure
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Risk management and control framework expertise

Understanding of global markets and financial instruments
- Settlement systems and platforms expertise
- Understanding of STP (Straight Through Processing)
- Knowledge of major custodian and CSD platforms

Experience with settlement automation tools
