- Assist ophthalmic surgeons and nursing staff during eye surgeries.
- Prepare the OT, surgical instruments, equipment, and consumables before procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilisation and maintenance of surgical instruments.
- Assist during cataract, glaucoma, retina and other ophthalmic procedures as required.
- Maintain OT hygiene, infection-control and safety standards.
- Check availability of medicines, consumables and surgical requirements.
- Support patient preparation and shifting before and after surgery.
- Maintain OT records, checklists and documentation.
- Follow hospital protocols and NABH/infection-control guidelines.
