Role Description This is a full time, remote NodeJS role at PPStack. The team member will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that power PPStack’s learning platforms and digital products.

Daily responsibilities include implementing scalable NodeJS applications, integrating third-party services, optimizing performance, and ensuring reliability and security of backend systems. The role also involves collaborating with frontend developers,



product managers, and data teams to deliver features, troubleshoot issues, and improve existing functionality. Participation in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development practices is expected.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in NodeJS and JavaScript/TypeScript for backend development.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and web frameworks such as Express or NestJS.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), data modeling, and query optimization.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security best practices in web applications.
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and collaborate in an agile, remote team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in EdTech, AI-driven solutions, and building products that support education and career growth is a plus.
